A View From Above
I wanted to share this aerial photo of the Center of Hope. It was taken by our Dental Director, Dr. Chris Nelson earlier this week.
Looking from left to right, you see the housing unit for Transitional Aged Youth. This building will house 16 students attending Shasta College or the California Heritage YouthBuild Academy (CHYBA). These student participate in the HOST (Helping Overlooked Students Thrive) program here at Hill Country. These students have either been homeless or have aged out of the foster care system so the HOST program gives them a helping hand towards their becoming successful.
The next thing you see is the Behavioral Health wing of the building. Just above it to the right is the Medical wing on the first floor and office and meeting space on the second floor. To the right on this is the Dental wing on the first floor and Administration offices and meeting space on the second floor. There is also additional Behavioral Health space on the second floor as well. The final portion of the building includes a cafe on the first floor, the elevator and more Behavioral Health space on the second floor.
A driveway and parking spaces surround the buildings along with beautiful landscaped areas. At the center of the main building is a courtyard that will have quiet areas to sit along with a water feature. The design of this campus by Trilogy Architecture was well thought out and is proving to be even more amazing in person than it appeared on paper in drawings and blueprints.
A Big Thank You to James and Todd at Trilogy Architecture for a wonderfully designed building!
And another Big Thank You to Dr. Nelson for this high-flying photograph!
