Where did May go?

Time flies when a construction project is nearing the end.  How is it almost the end of May already?  We are moving in to the Center of Hope beginning one month from today - Yikes!
The crew is working hard to get the building completed.  The exterior stairs by the elevator have been installed and buttoned up.

Once the crew gets the underside of the stair enclosed then the steps are complete and ready for use.

The courtyard is currently more complete than this photo shows.  The stamped concrete was installed late last week.  I'll have photos of it for you next time.

In the Dental wing the chairs have been installed.  Doesn't this reclined seat look like a comfortable place to get a root canal?  Maybe not a root canal but a cleaning would be nice...

Here is the dental delivery unit.  Everything a Hygienist needs to clean your teeth is within easy reach with this piece of new equipment.

Just outside the Dental wing is the new bicycle enclosure where staff can secure the bike that they rode to work.  This will be very convenient for our Dental Director, Dr. Nelson.  He's an avid cyclist who will definitely be taking advantage of this employee perk.

Outside the Housing unit is blending nicely into the natural setting.  The oak trees that surround the facility provide shade and ambiance.

The Housing unit is just about complete.  Flooring and the appliances still need to be installed along with the exterior landscaping.

Inside the lobby, doors are staged along with flooring prior to installation.  Most doors and flooring have been installed on the first floor and the crew is working on the second floor this week.

The staff locker room is ready to be used.  The bench and mirrors have been installed.

The movable wall in the Medical provider's office has been hung from its track.  It turns a giant office made for 28 staff into two separate rooms for 14 employees.

Do you remember the waterfall of CAT5 cable from earlier blog posts?  That waterfall has been sorted and organized by one very dedicated IT specialist.  Isn't that a beautiful server rack?

Last photo for today... wanna guess what this is?

Nope, it's not a toilet.

It's a utility sink on the dirty side of the Medical Lab.  It's a safe way to clean up and dispose of non-hazardous liquid waste.

In less than a month the Center of Hope is complete.  We move in next month and the month after that we are open for business.  Can you believe we're almost done?  We are very excited here at Hill Country and can't wait to see you in our brand new clinic!
