Stairway to... Heaven?

One of the building's stairways has been installed.  No, it is not a "Stairway to Heaven", it's the stairway to...

… our large meeting room on the second floor (which is currently being used as a construction work room).  This meeting room should be large enough to seat all of the employees at the Center of Hope.  A gathering of all of those wonderful people would truly be like... heaven.
So many good people work at Hill Country!

Good things are going to happen at the Center of Hope.  We're building housing for Transitional Aged Youth that are attending local schools and working towards a better life.
Work has started on this housing unit which is adjacent to the main building.  Underground utility work is being completed then the foundation will be poured.  The building will go up very quickly after that.

The building is almost completely covered with the yellow fiberglass drywall.  This photo is looking towards the Behavioral Health Therapy offices with the elevator on the right.

The Behavioral Health Therapy offices are accessible from the 2nd floor open walkway.  Each office has two large windows to let natural light in.  They already have a very open and inviting feel to them.

Another room with lots of windows and great lighting is the Arts & Crafts Room on the 2nd floor.  The windows in this room look towards the elevator and beyond.  Another window looks into the courtyard.

The courtyard is looking very bright due to the yellow siding.  On the inside the HVAC ductwork is going up, the plumbing and electrical are built into the walls and the crew is getting ready to start putting up drywall.  The foam roof material is being meticulously installed by the roofers.  The white items you see on the roof is the material they are installing.  There are a lot of pieces to the roof puzzle.

A big thank you to the Slater & Son team of Jackson, Patrick and Beau.  They are not only professionals who excel at their jobs, they're also really great guys to work with!
