Framing, Painting and Concrete Work

The housing unit is quickly taking shape.  The walls are up, the windows are in, the interior is framed and the roof is being finished before the rain is due.

The lighting in the courtyard of the housing unit is interesting as the sun filters through the posts above.

More concrete is being poured for curbs and the driveway entrances from Industrial Street.

The crew from Cardinal Concrete are detailed in their work, smoothing the surface by hand.  Don't try to write your name in the concrete while they're at work, they'll erase it with their trowel faster than it can dry!

The surface is compacted in preparation for the asphalt roadway in the parking lot.

Inside, most of the drywall has been installed on the first floor.  This is the Medical Check-in Reception Desk, surrounded by stored insulation and drywall.

The walls are being painted in the Medical wing of the clinic.  They are currently a warm, golden cream color.

The Medical Assistant Stations in the hallways have a green accent wall with skylights above each station.

The crew has buttoned up the building in preparation for rain by covering open window frames and doorways with a water tight plastic. Ray-Mac Mechanical is still working on the HVAC system so the temperature control equipment is not in place yet.   The plastic window coverings help keep the interior of the building a bit warmer for everyone working inside.
