Window into the Future

Windows are being installed throughout the clinic.  Here is the entry into the 2nd floor Wellness Suite.  No door yet but the windows are in.

The curved exterior with three windows arcing around in their rectangular frames is a good look.  This photo is of the security office at the entrance near the elevator.

Speaking of the elevator, its installation is progressing on schedule.  The elevator car is in place and the doors are going in.

Knock, knock...
Who's there?
Doors.
Doors who?
Doors are stacked up and ready to be installed.

Ok, that wasn't my best knock-knock joke but how else do I describe a photo of doors leaning against a wall waiting to be installed?

Those doors are quickly being installed around the exterior of the building along with the transom glass.

The exterior of the building is becoming more secure with doors and windows being installed.  Here are windows in the lobby that look out towards Industrial Street.

Some internal meeting rooms have windows that look into hallways to open up and brighten the room.

The Dental Exam Rooms have large windows that will provide needed natural lighting, even with window shades installed.  As you can see, the rooms have received their cabinets and sinks.

Here is a sink and faucet in a Dental exam room.  The faucet doesn't have a handle because it turns on automatically via a motion sensor.  This touch free fixture helps with infection control.

Just around the corner from Dental is the Staff Room.  The Staff Room kitchen now has cabinets in place.  The kitchen will have a stove, two refrigerators and plenty of appliances for staff to prepare their lunch.

In the Medical wing the crew is finishing installing all the items that are above the ceiling tiles.  HVAC vents and fire sprinkler heads were put in last week.

Over at the Housing unit, the shower/tub enclosures have been installed.

The crew has started installing drywall in the Housing units as well.  This photo is looking into a bedroom closet.  Just above the closet is the HVAC ducting.

Thank you for reading this construction update.  Another update will be posted at the end of the week.
